1 Возрадовался я, когда сказали мне: «Пойдем в дом Господень».
2 Вот, стоят ноги наши во вратах твоих, Иерусалим, –
3 Иерусалим, устроенный как город, слитый в одно,
4 куда восходят колена, колена Господни, по закону Израилеву, славить имя Господне.
5 Там стоят престолы суда, престолы дома Давидова.
6 Просите мира Иерусалиму: «Да благоденствуют любящие тебя!
7 Да будет мир в стенах твоих, благоденствие – в чертогах твоих!
8 Ради братьев моих и ближних моих говорю я: мир тебе!
9 Ради дома Господа, Бога нашего, желаю блага тебе».

1 I rejoiced when they said to me: "Let us go to the house of the Lord."
2 Behold, our feet are standing in your gates, Jerusalem, -
3 Jerusalem, built as a city, merged into one,
4 where the tribes ascend, the tribe of the Lord, according to the law of Israel, to glorify the name of the Lord.
5 There are the thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Ask the world of Jerusalem: “May those who love you prosper!
7 May peace be in your walls, prosperity in your halls!
8 For the sake of my brothers and my neighbors I say: Peace be unto you!
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I wish you good. ”
