Несколько шагов вперед, затем Д уходит назад, в хвост зала, делая поворот вправо, а К - делая поворот влево. Первая пара доходит до места, где стояла четвертая пара и останавливается лицом друг к другу, образуя руками «арку».
1 – 8 Остальные пары обходя первую пару за спинами проходят под «аркой» (К берет свою Д за руку) и дальше, вперед, пока вторая пара не дойдет до места, где стояла первая пара. Пары останавливаются.
1 – 8 Первая пара начинает движение в голову своей четверки:
Кросс правыми плечами (партнеры меняются местами, встречаясь правым плечом), обход четвертой пары за их спинами, кросс правыми плечами между третьей и четвертой парой, обход третьей пары за их спинами, кросс правыми плечами между второй и третьей парой, обход второй пары за их спинами.
1 – 2 Первая пара оказалась на своем исходном месте, в голове своей четверки. К и Д идут на встречу друг другу (К идет со стороны дам, Д идет со стороны кавалеров) и берутся за руки.
3 – 4 Поворот первой пары по часовой стрелке полкруга.
5 – 8 Приставными шагами пара движется в хвост своей четверки и встает последней парой, Д в линии дам, К в линии кавалеров.
Танец начинается с начала. Пары поменялись номерами.
