Преподобный Зинон, постник и трудолюбец, подвизался в Дальних пещерах Киево-Печерского монастыря в XIV веке. В 3-й песне канона преподобным отцам в Дальних пещерах он прославляется как «сияющий постом». Память его празднуется также 28 августа/10 сентября и во 2-ю неделю Великого поста.
