Красота рукотворна - как зло и добро,
светоносна - как жизнь,
как земля - плодородна.
...Уронила жар-птица в полете перо
на глухой островок посредине болота.
Долго брел я по кочкам за чудным пером -
мне короткую жизнь ворожила кукушка -
и трясину прошел и кусты - напролом,
а перо оказалось... обычной гнилушкой.
С той поры позабыл я и сон и покой,
но судьбу перестал укорять за превратность:
я рисую жар-птиц неуклюжей рукой
на смех - бройлерным курам,
но детям - на радость.
Красота рукотворна и учит добру.
Красота бесконечна - как жизнь бесконечна.
Если даже умру - все равно не умру,
память в сердце ребенка - уж это навечно.

Beauty is man-made - like good and evil,
luminous - like life,
like the earth is fertile.
... the firebird dropped the feather in flight
on a remote island in the middle of a swamp.
For a long time I wandered over the bumps for a wonderful feather -
my short life was enchanted by the cuckoo -
and the bog passed and the bushes - right through,
and the feather turned out to be ... ordinary rot.
Since then I have forgotten both sleep and peace,
but he stopped reproaching fate for the vicissitudes:
I paint firebirds with a clumsy hand
for a laugh - to broiler chickens,
but for the children - for the joy.
Beauty is man-made and teaches goodness.
Beauty is endless - like life is endless.
Even if I die, I still won't die,
memory in the heart of a child is forever.
