Пускай из этих слов не возникает речь –
К исходу жития осталось их так мало,
Что незачем слова случайные беречь.

Слова, слова слова – бездомные собаки,
У каждого из них свой одинокий лай.
Какое-то из слов останется со мною.
Какое-то из тех, что в памяти Творца.
Когда я выйду в путь дорогой неземною,
И слово поведет вселенского слепца.

Let my words wander anywhere,
Let speech not arise from these words -
By the end of their life there were so few of them,
That there is no need to protect accidental words.
Let them wander in the light and in the dark,
Let them go to hell, let them go to Heaven.
Words, words, words - stray dogs
Each of them has its own lonely barking.
Some of the words will stay with me.
Some of those that are in the memory of the Creator.
When I go out on a road unearthly,
And the word will lead the universal blind man.
