В западной части Кольского полуострова завершился авиаучет популяции дикого северного оленя. Итоги неутешительные: животные оказались под угрозой исчезновения. Дикие стада сохранились только на территории Лапландского заповедника, где они находятся под защитой. За ее пределами оленей практически не обнаружено. In the western part of the Kola Peninsula, aerial survey of wild reindeer has been completed. The results are disappointing: the animals were in danger of extinction. Wild herds are preserved only in the territory of the Lapland nature reserve, where they are protected. Outside it, deer are practically not found. Instead, scientists noticed something different from the air: all the land around the protected area is streaked with traces of hunters on snowmobiles.
