The pipe plays, and the soul sings -
This is my life year after year.
What is my pipe singing about?
And why, hearing her, the beast
Inaudibly dies down immediately?
And what about a pipe? - the pipe plays.
Oh, give me your lips goodbye to me, beauty.
And smile with just your eyes.
I will sing all the sweetness in our new song,
But I am alone there, and, alas, not with you.
I'm glad to amuse the people
And in the dance of life - every brother.
I will not bury my talent in the ground,
