День конституции отмечают сегодня в России. Основной закон страны приняли в 1993 году референдумом – за него проголосовало почти 60% россиян. В нём президент был провозглашен главой государства. Включая поправки, в действующей конституции 137 статей – РР узнало у горожан, какие из них они помнят.

Добавлю, в текст российской конституции неоднократно вносились поправки – изменяли названия областей, меняли состав России из-за укрупнения и и слияния регионов, а также увеличивали сроки полномочий президента (с 4 до 6 лет) и Госдумы (с 4 до 5-ти).

The Constitution Day is celebrated today in Russia. The country's basic law was adopted in 1993 by a referendum - almost 60% of Russians voted for it. I will add that amendments were repeatedly made to the text of the Russian Constitution-the names of the regions were changed, the composition of Russia was changed due to enlargement and merging of the regions, and also increased the term of powers of the president (from 4 to 6 years) and State Duma (from 4 to 5).
