Niyaz (نياز) - это музыкальное трио из Ирана. Группа создана в 2005 году диджеем/продюсером Carmen Rizzo, вокалисткой Azam Ali (член-основатель группы Vas), а также Loga Ramin Torkian из иранской crossover группы Axiom of Choice. Название одинаково с персидского и урду переводится как «сильное желание». Их музыку характеризуют как «мистическое звучание современного уклона», что по сути является смешением мистицизма суфиев и trance-электроники.
NIYAZ ( The group was created in 2005 by the DJ/producer Carmen Rizzo, Azam Ali vocalist (the founding member of the VAS group), as well as Loga Ramin Torkian from the Axiom of Choice Iranian Crossover. The name is equally translated from Persian and UrDU as “strong desire”. Their music is characterized as a “mystical sound of a modern bias”, which is essentially a mixture of the mysticism of Sufis and trance-electronics.
