Чудесно жить на крыше,
Там благодать и тишь.
На крыше, за трубою
Живет котенок Кыш.
Он черный, словно сажа,
От носа до хвоста,
Совсем-совсем бездомный

He is black, like a soot
From nose to tail
Very, very homeless
And a round orphan.

He can fluff
When he sees the mouse.
