Во мне всегда сильны были эти хард-роковые и панковские тенденции, да и в мире тогда чувствовался некий ренессанс глэм-рока. В том же бритпопе слышались нотки T.Rex и Боуи 70-х. Поэтому я сразу решил, что альбом должен стать более «роковым», чем «Морская». «Доля риска» открывалась мощными аккордами, и моя идея была в том, что альбом должен был начинаться с 40 секунд полной тишины — чтобы, поставив диск, ты недоуменно смотрел на проигрыватель, постепенно инстинктивно прибавлял громкости, а потом — «ба-бах»! Я даже на мастеринге сделал этот эффект. Однако выпускающая компания «Бекар», недолго думая, убрала этот эксперимент из промышленной серии — решив, видимо, что эти англичане опять прислали бракованный мастер».
