Феофилакт Болгарский, архиепископ Охриды в византийской провинции Болгарии (вторая пол. XI — нач. XII в.), крупный византийский богослов. Родом с о. Эвбеи, он долгое время служил диаконом при храме Святой Софии в Константинополе и ритором. Там он преуспел в объяснении Священного Писания и составлении поучительных слов от имени патриарха. Став архиепископом Болгарской Церкви, блаженный Феофилакт показал себя твердым в вере и мудрым пастырем.
