Рисует малыш карандашиком счастье
На листике белом, размером с ладонь.
С красною ниточкой на запястье,
Листочек сжимает... счастье не тронь!
На рванной бумажке его папа с мамой –
Обоих рисует с крыльями он…
Короткая жизнь, окутана драмой,
И каждый вечер пустынный перрон…
Встречает малыш поезда и с надеждой

The kid draws with a pencil happiness
On a white palm-sized leaf.
With a red thread on your wrist
The leaf compresses ... do not touch happiness!
On a torn piece of paper, his dad and mom -
He draws both with wings ...
Short life shrouded in drama
And every evening a deserted platform ...
The kid meets the train and with hope
He looks into a crowd of strangers, strangers ...
And people go kicking carelessly ...
And the snow is constantly spinning cold.
The kid, like a puppy, waddles home,
Dreaming of my mother’s warm hands ...
His hope is so light, weightless,
Glowing in huge green eyes ...
