Во имя Аллаха, Милостивого, Милосердного
1. Когда солнце будет скручено,
2. когда падут звезды,
3. когда горы сдвинутся с мест,
4. когда верблюдицы на десятом месяце беременности останутся без присмотра,
5. когда дикие звери будут собраны,
6. когда моря запылают,
7. когда души объединятся,
8. когда зарытую живьем спросят,
9. за какой грех ее убили,
10. когда свитки будут развернуты,
11. когда небо будет сдернуто,
12. когда Ад будет разожжен,
13. когда Рай будет приближен,
14. тогда познает душа, что она принесла.
15. Но нет! Клянусь планетами отступающими,
16. передвигающимися и исчезающими!
17. Клянусь ночью наступающей!
18. Клянусь рассветом брезжущим!
19. Это – слова благородного посланца,
20. обладателя силы при Владыке Трона, могущественного,
21. которому там (на небесах) повинуются, доверенного.
22. Ваш товарищ не является одержимым.
23. Он видел его (Джибриля) на ясном горизонте
24. и не скупится передать сокровенное.
25. Это – не речи проклятого сатаны.
26. Куда же вы направляетесь?
27. Это – лишь Напоминание мирам,
28. тем из вас, кто желает следовать прямым путем.
29. Но вы не пожелаете этого, если этого не пожелает Аллах, Господь миров.

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful
1. When the sun is twisted,
2. When the stars fall,
3. when the mountains move from their seats,
4. when the camels on the tenth month of pregnancy remain unattended,
5. When the wild beasts are gathered,
6. when the seas are covered with fire,
7. When the souls unite,
8. When buried alive,
9. for what sin was it killed,
10. When the scrolls are deployed,
11. when the sky is pulled back,
12. When the Hell is kindled,
13. When Paradise is approached,
14. Then the soul will know what it has brought.
15. But no! By the planets retreating,
16. Moving and disappearing!
17. By the coming night I swear!
18. By the crack of dawn, I swear!
19. These are the words of a noble messenger,
20. The possessor of power under the Lord of the Throne,
21. to whom there (in heaven) obey, trusted.
22. Your friend is not obsessed.
23. He saw him (Jibril) on a clear horizon
24. And do not be stingy to convey the inmost things.
25. This is not the speech of the accursed Satan.
26. Where are you going?
27. This is only a reminder to the worlds,
28. To those of you who desire to follow the direct path.
29. But you will not want it, if Allah, the Lord of the Worlds does not want it.
