Глава 35. Хранение тайны
1. Ученик, неспособный хранить тайну, никогда не приблизится к Мастеру.
2. Не научившись хранить тайну, невозможно пройти даже шаг по Пути, чтобы не оступиться.
3. Мастера прошлого говорили, что хранение тайны наделяет священную связь огромной силой.
4. Ученик, утративший чувство тайны, теряет священную связь и перестает быть учеником. Ибо, потеряв крылья, как может птица летать?
5. Если тайны необдуманно разглашаются и в Дух Пути привносится обыденное, хранители Пути гневаются, проявляются неблагоприятные знаки, жители неба и небесные странники отворачиваются от него, ибо человеческая привычка делать все обыденным им чужда. Тогда ученик чувствует, что Дух Пути покинул его.
6. Хранить тайну не означает что-то удерживать, скрывая, потому что человеку Пути удерживать нечего. Это значит беречь благоговейный Дух священной связи.
7. Благоговение перед тайной Пути привлекает вспышки Духа и нисходящую силу, наделяя ученика безграничным величием.

Chapter 35. Keeping a Secret
1. A disciple who is unable to keep a secret will never approach the Master.
2. Without learning to keep secrets, it is impossible to go even one step along the Path in order not to stumble.
3. Masters of the past said that keeping the secret confers a sacred bond with tremendous power.
4. A student who has lost his sense of mystery loses his sacred connection and ceases to be a student. For, having lost wings, how can a bird fly?
5. If the secrets are thoughtlessly disclosed and the ordinary is introduced into the Spirit of the Path, the guardians of the Path are angry, unfavorable signs appear, the inhabitants of the sky and the heavenly wanderers turn away from it, for the human habit of doing everything ordinary is alien to them. Then the disciple feels that the Spirit of the Way has left him.
6. Keeping a secret does not mean holding something back, hiding it, because there is nothing for a person to hold the Way. It is to keep the reverent Spirit of the sacred bond.
