"Семь слов", партита для виолончели, баяна и струнного оркестра в семи частях (1982) - одно из самых захватывающих произведений Губайдулиной. Питая пиетет к великой духовно-культурной традиции, она обратилась к сюжету, на который написали произведения с тем же названием Генрих Шютц и Йозеф Гайдн. Особенно близким для Губайдулиной оказалось сочинение Шютца (род духовной кантаты): с ним совпадает как бы программное последование самих семи слов (обращений Иисуса на кресте, из разных евангелий), с ним связан прием многоголосного просветляющего ответа на одноголосные реплики "крестного" повествования. В семичастной, чисто инструментальной партите Губайдулиной соответствие седьмого "слова" следующее: "Отче! в руки Твои предаю дух Мой" (от Луки).
Произведение посвящено его первым исполнителям - виолончелисту Владимиру Тонхе и баянисту Фридриху Липсу.

"Seven words", wardings for cello, accordion and string orchestra in seven parts (1982) - one of the most exciting works of Lebaidulina. Pet is drinking to the Great Spiritual and Cultural Tradition, she appealed to the plot, which was written works with the same name of Heinrich Schyutz and Josef Haydn. Especially close to Gubaidulina turned out to be an essay of Schutz (a genus of spiritual cantata): it coincides with it as if the program follows the seven words themselves (the appeals of Jesus on the cross, from different gospels), with him the reception of a multi-voice enlightening answer to one-haired replicas of the "transpar" narration. In the seven-party, purely instrumental partition of the Gubyadulina compliance with the seventh "word" the following: "Father! In your hands, I betray my spirit" (from Luke).
The work is devoted to its first performers - Cellistist Vladimir Tonte and Bayanist Friedrich Lips.
