«Призрак Оперы» является одной из самых масштабных и технически сложных постановок. Это уникальное зрелище – 29 сменяющих друг друга сцен, которые переносят зрителей то в роскошную Парижскую Оперу, то к мрачному подземному озеру, то в тайное убежище Призрака или на крышу, под звездное небо Парижа. Грим Призрака накладывается два часа. Маски изготавливаются индивидуально под каждого артиста с помощью слепка лица. На пошив портьер и занавеса ушло 2230 метров ткани, 900 метров которой окрашены с использованием особой сложной техники. Длина ленты бахромы, украшающей портьеры, составляет 226 метров, 5 тысяч кистей сделаны вручную из вычесанной африканским гребнем крашеной шерсти общим весом в 250 килограммов. В каждом спектакле задействовано 230 костюмов и производится 22 переодевания артистов. За один спектакль расходуется 281 свеча и 250 килограммов сухого льда. «Призрак Оперы» – подлинный шедевр, который можно увидеть и в Москве. The make-up of the Ghost is superimposed for two hours. Masks are made individually for each artist with a face cast.
