Группа Новая коллекция была основана в мае 1986 г. в Москве. В ее состав входили композитор и исполнитель Игорь Кезля (гитара, клавишные) и Андрей Моргунов (клавишные). Позднее к группе присоединилась Лиза Суржикова в качестве вокалистки. Стиль группы - весьма прогрессивное сочетание электронного звучания клавишных с рок-гитарой. Инструментальная музыка группы явилась практически самым ярким явлением в области современной музыки в стиле электронно-компьютерный поп-рок в инструментальном исполнении в России и странах СНГ в период с 1986 по 1994 год.
The New Collection group was founded in May 1986 in Moscow. It included the composer and performer Igor Kezl (guitar, keyboards) and Andrei Morgunov (keyboards). Later, Liza Surzhikova joined the group as a vocalist. The style of the band is a very progressive combination of electronic sound of keyboards with a rock guitar. The instrumental music of the group was practically the most striking phenomenon in the field of modern music in the style of electronic-computer pop-rock instrumental performance in Russia and the CIS countries from 1986 to 1994.
