Меня разят бездушности глаза,
Руки скупой бесстрастное пожатье.
Лишь лик Любви на старых образах
Спешит дарить желанное участье.
Печально слышать плач былых надежд,
Зима зовёт в метельные объятья.
А странник-ветер – яростен и свеж,
И треплет грубо прежней жизни платья.
Дрожит слеза хрустальная в глазах...
Сомненья прочь – Любовь всегда согреет!
Светлеет лик на старых образах,
И нежный взгляд меня теплом лелеет.
Гнетёт чело надменный блеск витрин,
И рук чужих холодные касанья.
Не от того ль, до старческих седин
Хочу хранить родной Души лобзанья?..

I feel painless eyes
Hands mean stolid indulgence.
Only the face of love on the old images
Hurries to give the desired participation.
It is sad to hear the cry of past hopes
Winter is calling in the snowstorm.
And the wanderer-wind is fierce and fresh,
And ruffles roughly the former life of the dress.
Crystal tears tremble in the eyes ...
Doubt away - Love will always warm!
Brightens the face on the old images,
And a gentle look warmth cherishes me.
The brawl oppresses the arrogant glitter of shop windows,
And the hands of others cold touch.
Not from that, to old gray hair
I want to keep the native Soul lazy? ..
