Мне даны давным-давно
Два пространства в утешенье;
И в каком обрел рожденье,
Уяснить мне не дано.
Как не выяснить и впредь,
На каком из двух пространств я
После многолетних странствий
Удосужусь помереть.
Дотянусь до облаков,

Это - уровень полёта,

У Земли беру я силы,

У меня есть две опоры -
Для ступни и для крыла.
