15 октября 1999 Наше Радио и газета КоммерсантЪ обьявили о начале акции «Весь мир в наших руках» в поддержку пострадавшим от терактов. В эфире радиостанции выступали знаменитые музыканты, на торг были выставлены уникальные предметы их артистического быта.
18 октября Наше Радио сообщило: для пострадавших собрано 11 тысяч 330 долларов.
Отыграли, можно сказать, в едином порыве. Чисто, вдохновенно. Было бы жаль просто взять и похоронить такой эфир под толщей воспоминаний об этих тревожных днях. Поэтому создание сборника - шаг, в общем-то, закономерный -тем более, что группы действительно ударные, хиты знаменитые.
Закончили сборник песней Кинчева - сам он в эфире не присутствовал, но песню для диска предоставил. «Все в наших руках», - говорит печальный помудревший Кинчев. У нас нет причин ему не верить.
Но лучше будет, если второй сборник никогда не увидит свет.
