Strawberry fields - section of the New York Central Park, dedicated to the memory of John Lennon, was opened on October 9, 1985, the center of the composition is the word "Imagine".
In the film "Forest Gump" (1994) is a comic version of the occurrence of the words of the song by exchanging remarks between Lennon and the main character of the film.
In Ben Stein's documentary, "You are excluded: There's no place for clever", in which the director challenges Darwinism and claims that the basis of life on Earth is the theory of intelligent design, using a fifteen-second excerpt from the song "Imagine" with the words "and there is no religion either" (English "аnd no religion tоо"), accompanying photos of Stalin and the PLA soldiers. The widow of Lennon Yoko Ono, who did not give the right to use the composition, sued the court, but the court ruled that the fragment of the song is used in the film for scientific discussion.
In Havana (Cuba) there is a bronze sculpture of Lennon, at the foot of which the words from the song are carved.
In 1 series 3 seasons of the series "Quantum Leap" (1969), the main character Sam Beckett calls "Imagine" his favorite song and sings it for his younger sister, although it has not yet been written about the time in the series - as proof that he came from the future.
