В этом году знаменитый импринт отмечает свое 20-летие. Это обстоятельство побудило нас создать новый выпуск посвященный пути становления легендарного лейбла. Энди Хорсфилд фотограф и Джеймс Тодд дизайнер, владельцы Global Underground, не имели никакого отношения к музыкальной индустрии, пока в их голову не пришла идея открыть лейбл, который будет записывать dj-сеты, выводя на авансцену лучших диск-жоккев мира. В этом создатели лейбла Global Underground были первопроходцами. Воплощенная ими идея вызвала широкий резонанс
В разные годы свои успешные компиляции для лейбла Global Underground создавали: John Digweed, Sasha, Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Paul Oakenfold, Dave Seamen, James Lavelle, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler, Satoshi Tomie, Lee Burridge, Anthony Pappa и многие другие.
